Waterville, Maine - The New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) released its All-Conference Soccer teams on Wednesday, and sophomore Ethan Fabricant was named a second team selection.
Fabricant was the Mules' leading scorer on the year, and tied for fourth in goals and fifth in points on the NESCAC leader boards. Since 2000, Colby Men's Soccer has had 16 athletes receive All-NESCAC recognition, but Fabricant is the first sophomore since 2000 when Jaime Lue '03 was named.
"I'm pleased Ethan's performances were recognized by the league's coaches," said head coach Ewan Seabrook. "He's a goalscorer and like all good strikers he shoulders the responsibility of winning games. With a strong off-season I expect Ethan to make another big improvement next year and compete for first team and all-region honors."
